I have truly enjoyed 30 years of experience using cognitive-behavior therapy in the treatment of anxiety and obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders.
I received my Bachelors (B.S.) degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech and my Masters (M.S.) and Doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Georgia.
I completed my internship in Clinical Psychology at Western Psychiatric Clinic at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School and a post-doctoral fellowship in Behavioral Medicine at the Anxiety Disorders Clinic at the St. Louis University Medical School.
I have been licensed to practice as a Psychologist in Maryland since 1993 and have had my own practice in Severna Park since 1996.
In the past, I served on the faculty of Loyola University in Maryland and on the staff at The Behavior Therapy Center of Greater Washington. Currently, I limit my work to my practice in Severna Park.
I am a member of the Maryland Psychological Association, the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, the Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation, and the Trichotillomania Learning Center.
